Here are a couple of pictures from last weekend. It has been such a nice week that we've been able to spend time doing things outside. Last weekend Evie and Jordan helped Brent in the yard. We got our flower beds looking groomed again. Yesterday, we had a fun cookout with our neighbors. They barbequed ribs on their new grill.
We also had some excitement of another kind this week. The Marines have been on campus training for when they go to Iraq. They've been practicing landing their HUGE helicopters. Yesterday was the big one...they dropped Marines out of the helicopters and had a mock-mission. They raided the old gym and practiced taking the "bad guys". It was really intense. We got to watch it all, but we couldn't take any pictures. We did take a few of the helicopters earlier in the week. One day the cadets were even able to get a look inside them. Hopefully, I'll get those off the camera soon. Hope everyone else is having a beautiful Friday, too. Oh, and a happy belated birthday to my brother!
