We're excited to have found a new house in Milford, VA (only 10 minutes from Brent's school)! We're truly blessed! Continue to pray with us that the right person is interested in our Fork Union house soon! Here are a few pictures from the MLS listing of our new digs :)

The big "30"

Yes folks, the day has come. I am officially thirty. Do I feel thirty? Not really. But, how is thirty supposed to feel? I guess that the loss of my twenties is the hardest part. Now I get to officially check the next set of boxes on a form when it asks for your age range. Thank you to all for the many birthday wishes!

Snow Day - 3/2/09
We just had our first BIG snow! Of course, it came not long after having 70 degree weather for a few days. I'm out of school today, but unfortunately, Brent still had to go. I'm glad he has a truck! The dogs are loving every minute of playing in the snow. I wish I could get my videos to upload. I'll work on that. I'm pretty sure we'll be out tomorrow, but I'm hoping the power stays on no matter what!

Kitchen Cabinets!
Brent worked hard last weekend and made our new cabinet doors. When we renovated the house, we decided to use the existing cabinets to save money. Brent was able to make new doors to update them and allow the old cabinets to blend with the new island. The doors are up, but we still have to paint them. Brent still has to build the drawers for the island. I'm so excited! I'm also trying out a new set of window treatments, so they are not completely finalized.
I'm enjoying a day off for Presidents' Day today. Hope you are enjoying yours!

Frozen Winter Wonderland 1/28/09
We're out of school for the second day in a row today because of ICE! I don't mind snow, but ice scares me a bit. I am contemplating a trip to the grocery store this afternoon if it warms up a bit, but with the gray skies that are sticking around, I'm not sure that's going to happen. Here are a few snap shots from around the yard. It's amazing how the ice can form 360 degrees around the branches and berries. God is amazing! Hope you are warm and cozy wherever you are!
