April 13, 2005

Today is nice outside. Not as warm as hoped for, but still pleasant. I have spent today working with numbers. I've been calculating how much leave time I have; what date I can leave work; how many remaining vacation hours I will not used, yet get paid for; when my insurance will end; when we have to buy new insurance; when our FUMA insurance will begin; how much I have in retirement already; what to do with the retirement money; andwhen is the last possible date of my sanity! :) (just kidding, of course, on the last one). I just want to make sure we are being good stewards of what we've been given. It is going to be an adventure, but we can do it. What better time in our life to try?!
I'm excited about what is to come. I'm excited about going to camp. It will be new for me, but I hope to be useful and helpful, as well as have a time to reflect on all God has been doing for us, while enjoying his creation. (every last creature in it....!) We can do this! :) It's time for me to stop being such a pesimist and start living by the faith I proclaim to have. God is good! (And, just as a side note, any donations or contributions to the Miller Poverty Fund can be sent to: 1329 Lauderdale Drive, Richmond, VA 23238, ASAP! :) just kidding!!!!!!!!
I hope everyone has enjoyed their Wednesday. I'm so glad I have had the chance to get back in touch with so many of you. I hope to continue this site as our FUMA adventure begins. I'm not sure how easily I will be able to update it at camp. I'd still love to see others of you start a blog.....I want to know how you are doing! Don't forget: Pictures, Pictures, Pictures!!! Thank you, again, for all your prayers. Keep them coming!
